DeepSpeed is a disruptive innovative propulsion developed by the Italian start-up Sealence. It consists of an aircraft-inspired electric jet propulsion that offers a very high efficiency, superior to other existing systems, from which it deviates so much. Sealence’s patent covers 51 countries worldwide: in 31 of these countries the patent has granted, the remaining 20 ones are pending. The jet and the electric engine are integrated together and are positioned outboard. The propulsion system is completed by a modular and highly sophisticated powertrain, composed of a particularly advanced battery pack (available also with fireproof system) and an extremely powerful and compact range extender. Sealence, a Benefit company rated GOLD in the ESG portal, is concerned about sustainability and attention to polluting emissions, in fact our electrified powertrain is ready for TIER 5 challenge, with reference to the limits known today of the MARPOL Annex VI legislation. The range of jets now delivered goes from 280 to about 450 hp, while it is under progress the version from 870 hp.
